Characters and relationships

Open Books → Characters, choose the intended book filter and add a Character with the creation dialog. Record a name, role, description, portrait and the other fields you need. Open an existing Character and use the edit controls offered by your installed version. Sparse profiles are fine: you need not fill every field.

Use relationships/connections to record how Characters know each other; appearances indicate where a Character is linked in writing. Set Home Location only to a compatible place. Book scope matters when names repeat: verify scope before linking or editing. The public release may look different from development screenshots; unshipped Profile redesigns are not installation requirements.
